The studio is well situated, very close to the A38 & A380. Come off the A38 at the top of Haldon Hill taking exit signed to Haldon Racecourse. Follow signs to Dunchideock, after 2 miles you reach a steep hill with large layby at the bottom on the right, take a sharp turn left, signposted to Trusham & Ashton. 0.7 miles down the hill, take the second forestry track on your left (green & black wheelie bins & bungalow at the track entrance) follow the track untill you reach a gate in front and take right hand fork. First house you reach is the Hideaway. (see streetmap on links page).

The studio is the perfect base for a peaceful break but with plenty of adventure close by. The Studio is fully furnished to include wood burner, cooker, fridge, washing up facilities & shower room.

A stream runs outside the studio and deer can be watched grazing and relaxing! Many birds can be seen in the garden, forest & other sites in the locality.

The village of Chudleigh is a short drive away with a butcher, chemist, bank, post office, two small supermarkets, bakery and greengrocers.

A choice of three Pubs serving good food are a short drive away.
